This line of symmetry bundle is the perfect addition to your math centers. It comes with both the Butterfly and Flower versions.

I love using these during our line of symmetry unit, and my students have been so engaged every year. Having them use a hands-on manipulative is such a great way to reinforce this math concept. After I explain the activity, they are so excited by the challenge.

what is included in the line of symmetry ACTIVITY

These great packs each contain 16 cards based on butterflies and flowers. Each card has the left side of a pattern block image and the name of the butterfly or flower it is based on.

There is also two work mats to help students make the image along the line of symmetry. One copy is color and the other is black & white.

A worksheet is included for students to create their own butterfly or flower with pattern blocks. They first create their own, then record their creation.
