Our first week back after winter break has been a great one- our students are excited to be back, and we are refreshed and ready to tackle the second half of the school year. We have had a lot of fun centers, here is a look at a few of them:
Winter Sensory Bin
Our sensory bin was filled with fake snow, and we added some sight word snowflakes to include a literacy component. Our students had a great time searching through the snow to find all the snowflakes and recording them.
The snowflakes and recording sheet are included in this pack:
Snowy TreeĀ
For this small world play center, students decorated the pipe cleaner trees with cotton balls. It was great for working on fine motor skills too, and our students loved going back to this center throughout the week.
Graphing Activity
We started learning about graphing this week, so I made a new activity pack that has different activities that students can do to work on this skill. I used my new dry erase pockets to make the color versions reusable.
This spin and graph activity is in this pack:
Design a Snowflake
Students used different materials to make their snowflakes. Each of their creations were unique, and I loved seeing how they used the materials.
