The loose parts center is always popular in our classroom, the students love working with the materials at the center and I am constantly looking to add new things to it.
As we are learning to represent numbers in different ways, I had an idea to add popsicle stick squares and dice to the center. They have been doing so well with the ten frames I made, and now they can use different materials to represent the dice faces in the squares!
These were so easy to make – just four popsicle sticks per square and some hot glue, done!
What have you added to your loose parts center?
