We had a great time learning the letter D. We had so many ideas, and not enough time.
D is for Dinosaur! We did a few different dinosaur centers. We began by reading the book Never ask a Dinosaur to Dinner. Then we had students do a writing prompt about why they wouldn’t want a dinosaur to eat with them. Their answers were hilarious and creative. Then we used dinosaurs to make footprint art and had a small world play center with dinosaurs.
D is for Daisies! We set out some paper and pencil crayons and let the students draw daisies. A simple, fun art activity that students enjoyed, but wasn’t hard to create!
There we have it for the letter D, keep an eye out for the next letters L and F!
