Continuing on my Instagram adventure, this past week I posted about a lot of new activity packs that I have been working on and some happenings in our classroom. I am loving all the creativity and imaginative play that is happening in our room recently. Here are a few quick pics!
We did transient art for Earth Day using natural materials. Students used rocks, sticks, feathers, yarn and gems to create images. This student made adorable people!
I painted weather rocks for our new classroom small world center (see more about this later). I got the idea from this post from The Craft Train.
Students were doing some amazing work at our loose parts center during math. They were doing addition and subtraction math sentences, using ten frames, tally marks and other materials. They just kept doing awesome things and I am so proud of our students and how much they have learned.
Our cloud small world play. It includes my weather rocks (see above), felt clouds, pompoms, cotton balls and fiber fill. I will be posting more about this in the next week- so stay tuned!
That’s a wrap on this week’s Instagram posts. If you want to keep up to date with what is happening in our classroom, make sure you follow me on Instagram!
