<div>You have to know what you’re trying to accomplish by giving a gift. It has to be appropriate and send the correct message at the time. It needs to be personal and from your heart. Uniqueness counts as well. You have to take into account the time you’ve been together, the attitudes and desires of the person receiving the gift and the message you’re trying to send. Once you have calibrated all those things, only then can you determine the best and “perfect” gift, be it an art book from the Museum of Fine Art or a silk scarf from Bloomingdales or even a Rowenta iron. The gift must fit the receiver and convey the message you want to send - at the volume that’s appropriate to the receiver.</div></blockquote><br>
