Planning meaningful and engaging centers and provocations for your kindergarten classroom can be time-consuming. This is why I wanted to create kindergarten idea lists! I can look back on what I did throughout the school year, so I’m not constantly having to come up with new ideas.
I thought this might be useful for other kindergarten educators, so I made it a free download!
Kindergarten Idea Lists
I broke down each week of the school year and listed some tabletop activities we set up for students to explore. It is organized by month, so you can easily see what was happening. You can use the activities to help you plan your days.

Obviously, this is not a comprehensive document outlining everything we did, but it is a good start for providing ideas and inspiration when planning for your students. It contains math, literacy, science, fine motor skills, and more!

This isn’t the first time I have compiled a year-long list of kindergarten ideas. You can download both of them for free now and get 2 years’ worth of inspiration:
Most-Used Activities
If you are looking for even more ways to save time, I have compiled a bundle of my most-used activities from my kindergarten idea list! These are centers that I use weekly to reinforce a variety of skills with my students.
These will save you time throughout the year; you’ll be able to just pull them up and plug them into your day plans:
